Mayonnaise is one of the best gifts from French cuisine. From pizza and French fries to sandwiches, almost every delicious recipe feels incomplete without it.

For someone like me who barely knew how to cook five years ago, being called a specialist in French snacks feels unreal. The secret behind it? My homemade mayonnaise recipe.

This is not a typical Mayonnaise that you get in junk food chains. It is a homemade healthy Mayonnaise. If you are looking for ‘Mayonnaise healthy alternatives’ for your kids, this Mayonnaise recipe is for you.

Usually, the Mayonnaise served in cafes contains palm oil, egg yolk, vinegar or lemon juice, seasonings, preservatives, and thickeners like modified starch or xanthan gum. Source.

Such preservatives, thickeners, and palm oil are harmful to our bodies. Consuming these on a daily basis can cause health issues. So, shall we not indulge in the heavenly taste of pizza? No. Just learn about Mayonnaise substitutes.

I thought, why not use homemade healthy Mayonnaise and blend health with taste? In this blog, I am sharing not one, but two easy recipes for homemade Mayonnaise.

How to Make Mayonnaise at Home Without Egg

1. Homemade Mayonnaise With Paneer:

Ingredients:

  • 200g paneer
  • 50g cashew nuts
  • 4-5 garlic cloves
  • Salt
  • Chilli flakes
  • Honey (optional)
  • Water
  • 1 cube of cheese (optional)

Homemade Mayonnaise Process:

Take a mixer jar. Make small pieces of paneer and add them to the jar. Then add cashew nuts, garlic, a pinch of salt, and 2 pinches of chili flakes. If you like a sweeter touch to your Mayonnaise, add half a teaspoon of honey. You can also add cheese, but it’s optional.

Grind well. Make a thick paste. Add water as per the need. Make sure you don’t make it too watery. It should have the consistency of a cheese dip. If you accidentally add extra water, don’t worry, just add a few more cashew nuts and another cube of cheese.

Once you get the perfect consistency, your Mayonnaise is ready. You can store it in a glass jar and keep it in the fridge. You can use it for 2-3 days if kept in the fridge.

Health Benefits of Paneer-based Homemade Mayonnaise

This paneer-based homemade mayonnaise recipe is a healthier twist on regular mayo. It is rich in protein, which helps keep you full for longer and supports muscle health. Paneer also provides calcium, which is good for bones and teeth. Since it is homemade Mayonnaise, you control the ingredients, so there are no preservatives, artificial flavors, or excess oil. This version is lighter on the stomach, especially for people who avoid eggs, and works well for a balanced, nutritious diet when consumed in moderation.
